NIGHT VISION ASSESSMENT COURSE
Who’s it for?
This course is an assessment of one’s ability to manipulate firearms in a safe manner. Depending on each individual’s abilities, candidates are sorted into two categories. Approved, or Requires Remediation. Candidates who require remediation will be given suggestions on which classes to take in order to successfully obtain an “Approval” status. Approval status cannot be given after completion of a different course. A new assessment must be conducted, and approval/remediation will be determined with each registration.
*** THIS IS A DAYTIME ASSESSMENT, NO NIGHT VISION WILL BE USED DURING THIS ASSESSMENT COURSE***
Assessment criteria:
- Safety knowledge
- Fundamentals
- Firearms manipulations exercises
- Stoppage clearing and troubleshooting

If a candidate is referred to remediation, the fee for the assessment can be applied towards the course of the candidate’s choosing.
Upon approval, candidates will be able to take the “shooting under night vision” course which upon completion, will be granted an annual “Night Vision Membership” which is required to enroll in additional night-vision events.
